Their is no central plot to the Vallarian Trilogy as it catalogues the rise of several of the key visionaries that feature within the main K21 Squared story. The only running theme is that it portrays these characters from multiple perspectives, regularly from their own point of view as persecuted protagonists in the harsh world of the early 22nd century.
Each part in the trilogy is barely connected to the previous one, with Claude Lasi-Faité and Vamana Uldericks being the only characters to consistently feature throughout the series (even if it is only as brief cameos). It largely deals with their agendas and schemes in the build up to 2121 as well as their encounters with the illegal vigilante force known as the Ghost_K team
He is the flawed and misunderstood hero of the series. Claude is an inspiring visionary who aims to change the world and see it enter a new phase of development under the guidance of his allies. His methods are questionable, but they are highly effective and definitely produce results.
The noble and honourable resistance leader fighting against a vast capitalist empire with the help of his allies as well as his movement. He is extremely well organised and utilises his intellect in order to overcome the many challenges that he encounters in his mission to restore order to the world.
A wise old Time Elemental who guides his two proteges from the shadows in order to help further their goals as well as his own. He maintains a vast knowledge of both the history and the future, which is utilised for what he believes to be the betterment of mankind.
The adoring love interest of Claude. She is steadfastly loyal to him in their mission to take down an unjust world. She eventually becomes his wife after bearing his child, and is rewarded for her devotion by appointed the director of the Vallarie Administration (named in her honour). This leads her to be crowned as Queen of Sector IV.
A royal princess who was forced to see her family butchered by Damien Anderson. She was then sadistically captured by the criminal Ghost_K organisation and forced to serve as one of their Guardians. Miki is the niece of Libor Vallarie Kwolac.
An American mercenary under the employ of the honourable Vamana Uldericks.
A savage hunter with a fierce vendetta against Claude Lasi Faité and leader of the vigilante criminal organisation known as Ghost_K. He is morally twisted and reckless to boot, happy to see the world burn so he can recreate it in his own image. In his opinion, the Ghost_K team are the rightful masters of humanity and he will not stop until they are the unquestioned rulers of the planet.
A vile monster who has served as the perpetual nemesis of Vamana Uldericks. Known for his radical motives and violent methods, the man seeks to establish a brutal monarchist nation that would place him as their head of state.
An idealistic villain determined to undermine the honourable intentions of Vamana Uldericks.
This member of the Ghost_K team is both right-wing extremist and steadfast ally of Damien Anderson. It is well known that he killed his wife in cold blood and that many more have died by his hand. He is a clear danger to others and is a wanted criminal in several Sectors. Ken also believes that Ghost_K are destined to rule mankind.
A more sanguine member of the group. Often outspoken, but known to be a supporter of Damien and Kenneth. He is by far the most moral member of the team of criminals and regularly questions their ambitions. Noted as being the only one in the group to have never purposefully taken the life of another person. He is the husband of fellow Ghost_K member Annemarie.
Zalmon has noted to be fanatically loyal to Damien and Kenneth. Extremely adept at the use of his fire elemental abilities in a combat situation. A wanted arms dealer in seven Sectors, it is well known that he has been supplying the Ghost_K team, as well as their illegal agents, with weapons.
Arguably the most level headed of the Ghost_K team, she has proven to be a good strategist. Annemarie has demonstrated that she disagrees with the beliefs of her leader. However, she has been complicit in several murders and has had her European Commonwealth citizenship revoked.
A promising young member of the Ghost_K team who has not yet been corrupted by their twisted ideologies. Claude and Vamana aim to enlighten him to a more desirable way of thinking.
Another misguided follower of the Ghost_K organisation. She is taught by Laurence Valentine to see the team for what it really is, as he unravels the corruption that has beset it.
A sniveling little whelp with family issues and obsessive tendencies in regard to Japanese culture. Has close to little or no value both financially and tactically.
A young girl saved from poverty by the benevolent Vallarie Administration. They give her employment as a foreign courier. Instead of being greatful to her masters she selfishly rebelled against them to fight for the depraved Ghost_K team.
A deluded sociopath intent on seeding destruction and chaos.
As the first of the trilogy, the Subterfuge Chronicles are a series of interconnected short stories written in four different styles. It provides a bit of backstory for a few characters as well, 25 years before the events of K21, in 2096.
The entire arc is set on the streets of Nouveway, a rundown settlement within the Quebec Region, a municipality of the increasingly corrupt American Zone.
The second part of the trilogy is an account of the closest Vamana Uldericks came to death at the hands of military forces.
It is starts off within the European Commonwealth but turns into an endeavour inside the Central American Zone.
In part three of the trilogy, Vamana must deal with the aftermath of the events of the previous installment. Features heavy inspection as to the nature of amnesty and forgiveness in the IWU.
The fourth part of the trilogy, Tarnished Perceptions, is an indirect sequel to the events of the Subterfuge Chronicles, picking up the story from Vamana Uldericks, the day after he entered his report on Target Alpha, on January 19th 2116. The events play out in a far more ordered style than the previous instalment, following a set uniform chronological pattern from the same view point.
It is set within the European Commonwealth, 6 years after the Sector was taken over by the morally dubious Vallarie Administration, exploring their peculiar ties with insurgent factions as well as their intetions for the world stage.
The fifth part of the trilogy is a series of short stories that details more of the history behind Asiduus Aeviternus, explains the funding behind Event Horizon, and shows us the true motives of the shadowy CEO.
The sixth part of the trilogy, Shattered Endeavours provides a conclusion to the series while setting up the opening of K21 Squared.
The final part of the trilogy is an overarching tale that spans 30 years. It will cover several new areas of interest that have yet to see proper literature detailing the events that took place. This includes the establishment of the Vallarie Administration and the awakening of a new villain.
