K21/3

Needs to be finished and include lots of fun times.

Characters that need to be developed further

Li-Pau Nao

Responsible for killing Aurelie (doesn't matter if she's an agent or cyborg, Nao kills her) because of this a repugnance is sparked between him and Eric. He doesn't actually kill her, (however his attempts to do so are found out by her.), but his actions lead to her death.

In truth, Aurelie had chosen to end her own life. With Jacinta being taken over by her shadow side, Aurelie realises that she could never have a proper family. The extent of the chaos unfolding around her causes her to lose the will to live, feeling party responsible for everything, and also due to the fact that she is not human to begin with.

Nao is then accused of doing it, with Eric refusing to belive that what Aurelie truly did to herself.

Much later, Eric find out that her will to kill herself was a sequence initated by the VA. When Miki finds out the sheer artificial nature of Aurelie's emotions, it causes herself to break.

Oni Uboa

Responsible for triggering a lot of the the Neo World War with the uprisal of Sector Z.

His relationship to Mark may be nonexistent to remove clutter.

Miki Albraun

I have some very sickening ideas in store for her.

Jacinta x Eric

He knocks her up

By the end of the story

Necrus' Version of Events

Within Ghost_K

  • Aurelie turns out to be an android spy from the VA. She is a backup plan to go alongside Laurence in an attempt to crush Ghost_K, and then Africa, which will easily scatter without their leaders.
    • She rebels against her duty, because she wants to have a real family and to be loved, not to be used as a mere tool.
    • (subtext) She is the most innocent and good natured character within Ghost_K. She would never hurt anybody - she makes everybody's rivalries disappear considerably as she (a 12 year old) can be so happy with so little. It's a message to them, that happiness in not a destination, but a state of mind.
  • However, she gets ruthlessly executed simply for the sake of other's pride and greed. Being a robot, her death is entirely wireless. (Pride and greed destroys happiness, it's a literal and poetic meaning tied together in the same event)
  • Miki finds out who she really is.
  • Alison and Laurence's relationship becomes extremely chaotic
  • Jacinta finds her parents. It turns out her first true outburst of elemental power happened years earlier. The event caused the survival colony to be detected by surface corporations, leading to it's entire population being either slaughtered, or escaping and having to scrape up a living on the surface. Natalie and Jordan eventually found themselves working for the VA.
    • Jordan eventually comes down to having to execute Ghost_k - Including Jacinta. However in the last moment he stops himself and orders his army to fall back. A mutiny occurs, and he is killed.
    • Natalie is murdered by Claude in an attempt to weaken Jacinta's morale. He sends her a photo of her shot up body.
    • Event triggers Jacinta's shadow ability.
  • Miki dies. Mark dies. Alison gets knocked up/assaulted (*sigh* has to be the most gruesome kind, huh) by Laurence. Laurence eventually killed by Eric
    • She takes an injection to halt the pregnancy process, however she's traumatised.
    • Eric's existence is not pointless. He bloody saves Jacinta from killing everyone and destroying their plans for Sector Z. He gives her a reason to live instead of KILL KILL KILL.
    • Eric strikes out through all the chaos and becomes the leading figure for the resistance after Mark's death. Probably kills oni or maybe the whole bweg as they try to oppose Ghost_k. His true personality shines through.
  • Eric eventually learns through Jacinta and then Mark after she opens his heart up again, to not dwell in the past. He learns to put his sadness behind him, and to dwell in happiness. His work ethic increases, his ability increases, and for the first time he actively fights on the front line - despite the other's tidings for him to slow down. He proves that his abilities are much greater than anybody else had ever predicted.
    • Jacinta becomes overcome with grief at the death/betrayal of her parents and ends up falling into a depressive state. Her split personality consumes her.
  • Mark is killed by Vamana Uldericks as his rebellious forces are brought under the control of the IWU.
  • With Ghost_K fractured, Laurence Valentine steps up to the plate as Commander. He appoints Li-Pau Nao as his Deputy Commander and promotes Eric Lysander to Corporal.
  • With only three active Guardians, Claude Lasi-Faite and Vamana Uldericks launch their final strike on Block 441.
  • Miki is killed after being distracted by Claude over the truth behind her lineage. Li-Pau fights for his life against the BEWG. Just as the trio end up cornered, Laurence's programming activates. He turns against the surviving members of Ghost_K (Eric and Nao), and prepares to kill them.
    • Epic fight between Eric and Laurence, Eric manages to overpower him. Jacinta suddenly awakens from her comatose state and enters the battlefield possessed by dark powers.
    • However, she cannot tell friend from foe and begins systematically destroying the building, wiping out most of the BWEG in the process. She is stopped by Claude Lasi-Faite who shoots her multiple times in the back. It fractures her spine and renders her a paraplegic.
    • Claude begins to savour his victory, as his forces surround the building before he suddenly collapses. Blood dripping from his mouth.
  • Jacinta and Eric make short work of Claude's forces - a battle which results in the first possible true Ghost_K victory against their multi-faceted foes.

African Resistance

  • Mark uses his bloodline as political weight, as Africa becomes a single nation focussing on peace and equality.
  • Sector XII invades Africa, seeing the nation's acceptance of Guardians as a threat to their own goals.
    • Jordan's commanded army is comprised of Sector XII citizens. The nation has formed an alliance with Sector IV (Claude of course had a hand in this).
  • Seeing the alliance, and a very likely conquest of Africa to be a threat to their global supremacy, Sector II steps in and attempts to cool down the tensions between the Euro-Oceanic alliance and Africa. This is met with pure hostility, and Claude assassinates "the dictator". Neo World War erupts.
  • Africa seems doomed, until Mark confronts Oni (calling him Winston). He tells his son of the true purpose of the Guardians, and that Sector Z is not a typical grab for worldly power, but a push for world peace. Oni is overcome with guilt, apologising profusely, and he turns his motives away from crushing Africa. He notifies Mark of his position within Sector XII, and he sets his goals on stopping their involvement in the war.
    • (This will be a perfect motive for Vamana killing Mark)
    • Oni tries to put his beliefs in action against Sector XII's government, primarily with the ideologies that Sector XII does not deserve to side with the Autocratic nation of Sector IV, and that the nation will only use them for their own gain. However it turns out, his fellow party members are well aware of this; as they have all been promised positions of Euro nobles, as long as XII becomes integrated with VI as a satellite nation.
    • Oni is shocked, and narrowly evades an assassination as he escapes. The nation is ignorant to the teeth, and can never be changed.
    • Oni disappears, however he tries to induce tensions between Sector IV and XII in a last hope to give Africa a chance of winning against the two superpowers. He assassinates Vamana (personal grudge fuels him too). However the man he killed turns out to be a body double. He is cornered - immediately realising that he played right into their hands. He is murdered personally by the true Vamana.
Nothing can resist the will of the people.

–Vamana

Series Ends Here.

Epilogue

  • Crippled Jacinta in a bed. Eric, bloody and bruised by her side, promising to never leave her.
    • Eric continues to stay by her side nevertheless. Loving her despite knowing he'll have to look after her, possibly for the rest of his life. He vows that he will eventually find the means to repair her (artificial android-esque replacement), no matter the cost. Jacinta at first cant believe what he says, thinking she doesn't deserve somebody like him - that he's far too good for her, but her love for him eventually overwhelms her.
    • (Subtext) Love survives anything, no matter what happens.
    • Jacinta's elemental ability dies down very quickly because of that. She can no longer be a guardian - which is crushing for her.
  • Vamana Uldericks commenting on how much easier things will be while recovering Claude's body.
  • Laurence's execution. Cameos for: Alison, Li-Pau and... Asiduus.
    • Jacinta and Eric dedicate their energy to keeping Sector Z running, as it's development runs healthily.

Seeing as EVERYBODY ELSE seems to suffer or die, Eric needs to have something horrific happen to him. You just do not have someone waltz through a setting like this unscathed. Also, killing of family members isn't really Claude's style, seems to be more a Vamana thing. --Cal XDMy Talk 03:07, October 27, 2012 (UTC)

Eric's father did enough bad to him. And the whole world is against the one he loves - and he has to save her, which is dangerous, because she could turn on him uncontrollably at any second. And sure, Vamana it is. He seemed to be missing out a bit anyway. --NecrusIV-(Talk |My Wiki) 03:17, October 27, 2012 (UTC)

He needs to suffer more. I'm thinking he's missing an ear and two of his fingers from a failed kidnapping. I can already see that turning into a short story as we speak. Cal XDMy Talk 03:22, October 27, 2012 (UTC)

If you want to get out all your rage on him, then go ahead, make a short story about killing him. --NecrusIV-(Talk |My Wiki) 03:34, October 27, 2012 (UTC)

Death seems a bit extreme. But he is going to suffer a lot more in the run up to K21 Squared. Being kidnapped by Vamana and tortured. Cal XDMy Talk 15:33, October 27, 2012 (UTC)

We can't have all evil dominating the good indefinitely, there needs to be a reason why. Vamana possibly senses a key factor to Jacinta's overwhelming elemental power is her desire to protect Eric (and vice-versa). So therefore Vamana tries to torture him... possibly to get information out, or to implant an artificial node in his brain which then makes him function the same way as Laurence. He'd of course be saved possibly right in the process of the operation... to build up maximum tension --NecrusIV-(Talk |My Wiki) 23:57, October 27, 2012 (UTC)

No, this is completely before Jacinta. Long before her powers awaken. Eric is captured in order to try and demoralise/blackmail Kenneth, as Vamana is banking on the Ice Elemental's parental urge to save his son. However, Vamana fails to realise Kenneth has become just as heartless as he is, and so the Guardian of Ice essentially ignores the fact his son has been kidnapped. Eric is eventually released by an enraged Vamana, after having a couple of fingers and an ear removed from the poor child. He is of course beaten soundly before being dumped in Sector VII. Cal XDMy Talk 00:15, October 28, 2012 (UTC)

Not to sound like a scumbag, but where's Nao in all of this? He may be the Chef Information Officer, but at least let him kill a few scrubs. pweeez? Ave Dominus Nox! (talk) 01:29, October 28, 2012 (UTC)

You could say that he needs more action. *puts on shades* NAO! YEEEAAAHHH! Cal XDMy Talk 16:04, October 28, 2012 (UTC)

Oh fingers and ears removed. That goes directly against his current character design... (facepalm). Something creative rather than turning him into a pirate? I'd say large odd-shaped burn mark on the front and back of his chest + other scars. The burn mark would be a machine that would have held him in a vice, which negatively charged the aeotons around him, causing a crippling, seething shock. It'd look like a box formation of nine dots. Perhaps the scar somewhat hindered his elemental development in the future.

--NecrusIV-(Talk |My Wiki) 00:02, October 29, 2012 (UTC)

I like how you ripped off a large amount of my plot and barely reworded it into your own. xD I don't even get commended on my lateral thinking? For shifting my style from bleak to hopeful (with bitersweet)? Nope, instead you criticise my character building ideas for Eric. And I plan to merely have him scarred multiple times on his back (think hundreds of incisions) as he is tortured for answers he genuinely doesn't know. As for having lost an ear, I am sure by K21 they have the technology for prosthetics. Cal XDMy Talk 02:01, October 29, 2012 (UTC)

Also, your plot is all over the place, at least mine is coherent. And I am not having Laurence turn violently against Alison. This is purely for practical reasons, as he never gets close enough to hurt her, as he is incapacitated by Eric during the final fight. Also, you should stick to your original plan of the series ending in Block 441, with the final confrontation with Claude being the last event of the series, with the implied victory of Ghost_K (as the world falls into chaos). We then have the epilogue to wrap things up with Eric x Jacinta (since as much as I hate to admit it, it is nice to see a soppy ending for them); Vamana; Laurence x Alison (and her child... since that's happening Necrus) and of course the roll of Asiduus. He will have some rather poignant points to make as he rescues his grandson. Cal XDMy Talk 02:19, October 29, 2012 (UTC)

Sorry. I'm stressed. My creativity doesn't work too well when it's suppressed. Maybe it's your liking for making everything ridiculously bleak that's ding it. xD

Commendations? *Sigh* okay. Thank you for the plot ideas a lot of them are really good. Please take me taking and rewording them as a thanks and the notion that your ideas are good. You'll get plenty of commendations in the end, for now this is like a collage of ideas. I don't think in a linear fashion. Alright, prosthetics it is.--NecrusIV-(Talk |My Wiki) 02:20, October 29, 2012 (UTC)

Can I format it into a storyboard that uses the best of the ideas from the both of us? Cal XDMy Talk 02:22, October 29, 2012 (UTC)

You can put them together if you'd like, with conflicting ideas sitting next to eachother as "either / or" for the sake of easy readability. We can then agree upon thinks easier. --NecrusIV-(Talk |My Wiki) 02:29, October 29, 2012 (UTC)

Yeah Cal I want a better ending than a simple kill everyone scenario. It's bloody pointless killing everyone if there's no message underneath. Some of your ideas are good, though. --NecrusIV-(Talk |My Wiki) 02:57, October 27, 2012

I'm willing to use your version of events, provided I can at least imply Eric's death. I don't mind Jacinta surviving, so long as he dies. In which case I wouldn't gratuitously kill Alison. On the subject of Alison, the having her knocked up part would be an interesting dynamic. Cal XDMy Talk 03:01, October 27, 2012 (UTC)

I don't want Eric to die. The whole semi happy ending part becomes useless then. Why have him die anyway, personal grudge? He's not useless, he has just given up and appears that way... for now. Knocked up how? Slang wise that means impregnate her. Is that what you're implying? --NecrusIV-(Talk |My Wiki) 03:08, October 27, 2012 (UTC)

See above for Eric. As for Alison/Laurence, well yeah. It would sure as hell make their lives more chaotic, especially when Ghost_K are essentialy at war. Cal XDMy Talk 03:10, October 27, 2012 (UTC)

Fine. Well in that case, I'd like to have Eric kill Laurence. finally get some blood on his hands. --NecrusIV-(Talk |My Wiki) 03:14, October 27, 2012 (UTC)

Laurence needs to survive so he witnesses the consequences of his betrayal. But yes, we can have Eric be the one who incapacitates him. Have him have a nice elemental duel with Laurence. And we can have Eric believe he killed Laurence, before the triple-agent is recovered. Also, I think having Eric kill Jordan would be nice. Don't have Jordan undergo a realisation, he is a soldier who knows what he signed up for. Having the sudden change of heart because of family is intensely cliched. Cal XDMy Talk 15:43, October 27, 2012 (UTC)

That's a good point. It'd be tough for Eric, killing Jacinta's father, whom she dearly loves and had spent all her effort to try and find. And Laurence seeing the concequenes of his actions presents a message to the reader, which makes a good story all the more worthwhile. --NecrusIV-(Talk |My Wiki) 23:58, October 27, 2012 (UTC)

Yay! Something we agree on. It's a miracle. Yes, I was kind of thinking his self realisation would present a nice message for the reader. I plan to leave his fate amibigous (as in something that means implied suicide or redemption) after he sees all he loved destroyed by his own hand. Cal XDMy Talk 00:20, October 28, 2012 (UTC)

Good. I'm liking this a lot better. Are you happy with how it is?

I support your plans for making this story depressing, as long as it isn't as bleak as EoE. However: Why does Oni want to suddenly oppose Sector Z when he initially supports it after confronting Mark? Is he bitter over his father's death? That could work if we implement it well. --NecrusIV-(Talk |My Wiki) 04:25, October 29, 2012 (UTC)

His rational is that he wants to ruin the rebellion purely because it is now operating under the strings of Vamana. Even though he supports the idea of Sector Z, he has an issue with the means (well, specifically Vamana, since he killed his father). Cal XDMy Talk 23:16, October 29, 2012 (UTC)

Alright. Sweet. Well we have a basic skeleton for this storyline thankfully. If there's anything else you want to add let me know --NecrusIV-(Talk |My Wiki) 23:39, October 29, 2012 (UTC)

This just leaves one faction left. The RWA. I see no real reason why I should let them live, so I have a suggestion to kill them off. Arekusanda finds out that his "benefactor" is none other than Vamana himself (possibly learning this through Ghost_k?). With this knowledge, he realises Vamana and the IWU will kill him and probably replace him with one of their own. Afraid of his imminent demise, he contacts the remnant of Ghost_k and makes an alliance with them. He moves as many of the Whites as he can into the area around Block 441, intent on defending against the IWU's inevitable attack. When Vamana and co do attack, they bring with them a large contingent of IWU forces, which battle them around a first line of defences between them and 441. The battle takes some time, as the RWA are intent on fighting to the death, but eventually the superior IWU forces push through, where they encounter the second line of defence, manned by the White Guard (writing more on them later), who are considerably harder to kill and personally commanded by Arekusanda. Heavy fighting ensues and Arekusanda is personally killed by Vamana. As a breach in their lines open up, Claude, Vamana and the BWEG go down to eliminate Ghost_k, while the IWU mop up the rest of the White Guards. From that point onwards it continues as per written. --Lither My talk My wiki 01:29, November 3, 2012 (UTC)

I like the sound of that. It would also make Claude's death more significant (as it fucks over everyone) and we can have the IWU in place of the Vallarian Soldiers. I was thinking that Vamana would leave after killing Arekusanda (not wanting to risk his own neck when he firmly believes his terrier will finish the job), thus that providing the reason he survives the massacre. Or perhaps, in a MORE sinister twist of fate, Asiduus told him exactly what was going to happen beforehand, and our wonderful cynic left the building so that the IWU (as well as the pesky BWEG) to be eradicated, as their purpose was now obsolete, (seeing that if he knew Claude was going to die at the point of victory, then he could claim the Vallarie Administration for his own). And ultimately power seems to come before political ideals when it comes to Vamana. That way it is a completely bittersweet ending.--Cal XDMy Talk 03:35, November 3, 2012 (UTC)

That sounds like an even better idea. Although perhaps Vamana is overseeing the termination of the RWA personally and doesn't wish to go down until they are all dead.

While I'm not saying this alliance can't be formed, remember the RWA killed Nao's parents, and tried to assassinate him and Damien on a plane. So, he might be a little discouraged to join up with them. Ave Dominus Nox! (talk) 12:30, November 3, 2012 (UTC)

But remember, the situation is utterly desperate. Alliances like that are formed out of pure necessity, that sort of thing is why realpolitik is considered a legitimate school of thought. --Lither My talk My wiki 12:37, November 3, 2012 (UTC)

I see your point, and while something is necessary, that doesn't mean you have to like it. Which is what I can do for Nao. He agrees, but isn't to happy about it. Ave Dominus Nox! (talk) 13:02, November 3, 2012 (UTC)

Right, I have made some pretty drastic changes that not everyone will like (I am slightly against on a personal level as it kills off two of my favourite characters, but I need to suck it up for the sake of better quality plotlines). These have mainly been done to avoid the severe cliches the plot otherwise had. Keeping Mark alive subverts the "black guy dies first" cliche and the "mentor figure dies" cliche. Having Oni remain committed to his cause also helps add to the darker tone of this series, which is then complimented nicely by having his own father kill him (very Greek Tragedy and demonstrates that Mark is capable of more than he lets on) while avoiding the "he was good all along really" point. Also, I like the idea of Mark coming back right at the end of the series, having missed all of the action, more badass than before. Killing off Alison adds to the darker tone and provides a foil for the already traitorous Laurence (who kills himself over the guilt). And Li-Pau should probably die as well, despite him being a likeable character in my book, as the focus should remain on Jacinta and Eric. Cal XDMy Talk 07:34, November 11, 2012 (UTC)

Mmmm, can't Nao just be missing? Presumed dead? Ave Dominus Nox! (talk) 00:34, November 12, 2012 (UTC)

Personally, he might end up in a similar state to how 'Flash' is in during the events of the ending - still alive, but having to be 'dead' in order to stop some people (EG Scall, who may still pose a possible threat to the duo) from going after them. He might even allow him to see those files he tried to look up on Daymon, but the security stopped him from doing so at the time. As for Daymon, if he is still alive at the time - although that means avoiding the Shadow until she is incapacitated - it could be implied that he might had a hand in the final death before the epilogue... Possibly with a, 'What? It was either him, or us. And I am not one to let his work go to waste...' - referring to both Damien and 'Flash' as the 'he' which he mentions about. But that's just my thoughts on the matter. ah2190 (talk) 16:19, July 25, 2014 (UTC)
